Hi! I'm  Meredith

Here is one of my favorite DIYs that costs less than $10.

and I love DIY home decor that only looks expensive!

Materials  You'll Need

– 2 Dollar Tree Buckets (you can buy in bulk online, but I recommend going in store) – 2 Pool Noodles but you can also find them on Amazon – Xacto knife or box cutter – Caulk from Dollar Tree you can also find on Amazon – White Chalk Paint – Paint Brush – Rustoleum Stone Spray Paint

I cut the handles off both baskets so that they are flat all around. Regular scissors worked fine because this plastic was pretty thin.

3

With the handles cut off of both of my buckets, I flipped them over so that they were base to base to glue them together.

I used hot glue to attach the two buckets together. Once the glue set, I reinforced the bases by adding more hot glue to the seam.

5

I used a lot of hot glue to apply the noodles and then held them in place to allow the glue to dry. I added glue and a pool noodle for each row and used painter’s tape to hold them in place while the glue was drying.

6

Fill in the indentations between my pool noodles to create the smallest gap as possible. I used caulk from the Dollar Tree.

7

After the caulk dries, paint the entire project white. I used white chalk paint by Rustoleum.

8

Apply a few coats of Rustoleum Stone Spray—messy work, so do it outdoors!

Once dry, use it to plant your favorite plant and enjoy!
