DIY Dollar Store Hacks & Projects
Dollar Store hacks are some of my favorite projects to look up online. I am always amazed at what people think up to dress up in cheap decor.
When I moved into my first adult apartment, I was spending most of my budget on rent. Living in Los Angeles rent is and was pretty pricey, and spending that money on my own place vs. having roommates was my priority. During that time spending money on the high-end home decor wasn’t really in the cards for me.
I decided to get creative with my decorating by repurposing items in my home, thrifting, getting hand-me-downs, and shopping at the dollar store.
What I love about this type of decorating is that it gives you a boost in your creativity and also gives you a fun project to work on. Not to mention you end up with a lovely piece of decor that no one else has.
What I love even more is that this is a topic that has picked up speed, especially with home decor bloggers. I decided to share some of the best DIY Dollar Store hacks that I could find to help spark inspiration for someone just getting started. Make sure you click on each image that inspires you or the link below to check out and follow each talented blogger sharing a Dollar Store project.

2. Tiered Succulent Planter
I am growing to love real plants more and more in my home. I am less afraid of killing them by accident. Since my fiance suffers from bad asthma, I have been told having many plants in the home helps clean and purify the air. So I definitely will be doing this tiered planter in my home.
