I’ve gathered some serious inspiration for adding metallic home accents to your home.
No matter what your style, you can add a little bit of glam with a gold accent.
I have been wanting to write about this for awhile now, since I am obsessed with metallic accents. I actually have some in my living room (pictures to follow in a later post).
One of the main reasons why I wanted to write on this color specifically, is because I know it can scare some people. In their minds, they do not want their space to be gaudy or tacky looking.
I can certainly understand and appreciate that. BUT have no fear… I will show you some examples of metallic home accents done to perfection!

The layers of colors and textures in the photo above have a dramatic, yet classy effect. The mirrors on the armorie’s and the detailed ceiling give the illusion of a larger space, hence more dramatic metallic’s will work in this space.

These metallic home accents are so simple, yet so perfect! I love the gold accent nesting tables! They have a great antique feel to them and are great space savers!

The dramatic kelly green wall (photo above) compliments the gold accents. It blends very well with the black and white color scheme (It looks great and in my own mind…never would have put this color combination together!)Photo Credit – www.youandyourdecor.designshuffle.com
